I started fostering because I have always loved animals. The idea of helping a dog that is in trouble seems so much more appealing than buying one in a pet store or from a breeder. I created this blog to inform people about the benefits of adopting a foster pet and to give people the opportunity to see the dogs I am fostering in hopes that they might get adopted.
The dogs I foster are all inside dogs and are trained to be around people and other pets. I work to improve behavior skills and use positive reinforcement. The dogs get plenty of play time and exercise. They have the opportunity to play with other dogs and cats. They are able to be around new people and small children to help them fit right in to their new FURever home.
